Kwai Chang Caine, a wandering Shaolin priest, has been on a decades-long quest to find his son Peter, whose lives were forever changed by a temple fire that led them to believe each other was deceased.

A Shaolin priest and his police officer son, once believed to be deceased, reunite and join forces to combat evil, combining their distinctive skills in martial arts and wisdom with occasional gunplay.
