In the midst of chaos, Mahmoud, a former member of an armed group, struggles to rebuild his life after being forced to attack protesters in Tahrir Square on February 2nd, 2011. He faces unemployment, humiliation, and social ostracism in his community near the Pyramids. Just as all hope seems lost, Mahmoud meets Reem, a progressive and environmentally conscious young divorcee who works in advertising and resides in a wealthy Cairo neighborhood. Their chance encounter brings together two individuals from vastly different worlds, setting the stage for a poignant exploration of contrasting lifestyles and values.
