Bad Little Angel background

Bad Little Angel

In a mysterious and fog-shrouded town, a resourceful Victorian orphan forms an unlikely bond with a bootblack, finding solace and companionship in the midst of uncertainty.

Patsy, a devout Christian orphan, believes she's a child of God and relies on Bible verses to guide her life. After her guardian's sudden passing, Patsy sets out to "flee to Egypt" after praying and choosing a random Bible verse. Despite the impossibility of reaching Africa, she decides to travel to Egypt, NJ, where she befriends Tommy, a young boy struggling to make ends meet with his drunkard father. Patsy's infectious spirit captivates the Creightons, who want to adopt her despite already having three children. However, Patsy's doubts about being a jinx resurface when Jim loses his job and Red is fired. In her quest to save the Creightons and Wilks, Patsy sets her sights on Luther Marvin, the town's wealthiest and meanest man.
