Stanley and Oliver are on their way to Atlantic City with their wives when they receive a surprise phone call about a stag party in their honor. Oliver feigns illness to avoid the trip, while Stanley's attempts to get him dressed for the party end in disaster. The wives miss the last train and return to find their husbands' deception, exacting revenge with shotguns.
