In the woods, a group of college friends arrive at a cabin, seeking adventure and nostalgia. As they settle in, they uncover the dark history of the area, including the legend of the berserker curse, where Viking warriors would enter a primal rage, killing everything in sight. Meanwhile, a local state trooper and his friend mention the group's presence, as well as that of a senior couple, Homer and Edna, who rented the cabin.
