Under Nazi control in 1942, France is on the brink of defeat, with the Allies pushed off the continent and North Africa seemingly lost. Amidst this darkness, a courageous man named Jacques uses a radio to broadcast hope. Hiding with his daughter and a few fellow survivors, they play a deadly game of cat and mouse with the German occupiers.
