A trail boss, fresh out of prison after serving a five-year sentence for his crew's destructive rampage, is given a second chance by the leading citizen of the same town that was destroyed. He is tasked with driving their cattle to Fort Clemson, but things become complicated when a rival cattle baron also hires him to lead his herd.
