Mark Nagle leaves his successful job and home in Seattle to care for his 6-year-old orphaned niece, Holly, who stopped speaking after her mother's death, after she's held back in school. He moves in with his brothers, a contractor and a biological researcher, and tries to impose his own rules while staying with them.
