Clearing the Range

El Capitan, a daring outlaw, seeks revenge against Kildare for brutally killing his brother Jim, while hiding his true identity.

In this western film, a corrupt bank president is murdered, and his brother arrives to investigate. The killer, Lafe Kildare, takes over the bank and terrorizes the local ranchers. Meanwhile, the brother, Curt Fremont, poses as a lazy drifter to avoid being killed. At night, he dons a Mexican costume and robs Kildare's business ventures as the bandit "El Capitan". As tensions rise, Curt exposes Kildare's corruption and brings him to justice, all while winning the heart of the rancher's daughter, Mary Lou.
