A group of showgirls, mistaken for a ballet company, embark on a hilarious adventure to Paris for the International Dance Exposition.

The representative of the Paris International Dance Exposition arrives in New York to invite the Academy Ballet of America to compete for monetary prizes, but mistakenly takes a taxi to a nightclub on the brink of bankruptcy. The nightclub owners seize the opportunity to send a group of showgirls to Paris to compete in the ballet competition, despite knowing it's a mistake. The group includes a ballet teacher, his pupil, and his ex-wife, who is also Terry's ex-wife.
