Hell Is for Heroes

In this World War II drama, a group of weary GIs are unexpectedly sent back to the front lines to hold off a German pillbox. As most of the men retreat, a small team of six soldiers is left to protect a wide front. They use clever tactics to deceive the Germans into thinking a large force is still present. When the team leader, Reese, launches an unauthorized attack on the pillbox, two of his men are killed. Fearing court-martial, Reese makes a solo attempt to take out the pillbox to prove his bravery.
