In the spirit realm, Oogway battles Kai, a powerful bull who has defeated all other kung fu masters and stolen their chi. Kai targets the Dragon Warrior, Po, seeking to steal his chi too. Meanwhile, Master Shifu retires and passes teaching duties to Po, who struggles to lead the Furious Five and ultimately fails. Shifu advises Po to be himself, not a teacher. Po discovers his biological father, Li Shan, and forms a strong bond with him, which sparks jealousy from his adoptive father, Mr. Ping.
