A wealthy TV actress, Christine, and her family move to Romania to buy an old castle and build a spa. Her son Kevin befriends the castle's administrator, Pavel, and soon discovers the ghost of Sofia, who takes care of the castle. As Kevin and Sofia become close, they uncover Tony's infidelity and embezzlement of Christine's funds. Sofia's health begins to decline as the castle is destroyed, and the family must summon Sofia's mother to save the castle, but their efforts are unsuccessful.
