Moon Child background

Moon Child

In the small Asian town of Mallepa, the powerful connections between love and friendship are beautifully portrayed against the harsh realities of everyday life.

In a post-economic collapse Japan, people flocked to other parts of the world, settling in a multicultural corner of Asia called Mallepa. This vibrant street, home to Hongkongers, Taiwanese, and Japanese, was a battleground for survival, resources, and autonomy. It was here that two unlikely friends, Shou, an orphan, and Kei, who possessed the gift of immortality, forged an unbreakable bond. But their friendship was soon tested as they became entangled in a power struggle between rival ethnic gangs on the treacherous streets of Mallepa.
