Lewis Loud, a disc jockey from Morecambe FM, stars in his first pantomime, "Dick Whittington", alongside glamorous soap star Tamsin, with whom he starts an affair. However, his improvisational skills clash with the conservative director Francis and ambitious producer Di, who is pushing her reluctant daughter Chantelle.
