John Bishop is a renowned comedian in the UK, having achieved immense success with his numerous national arena tours. His television shows have garnered a significant following, including John Bishop's Australia (2014) on BBC1, John Bishop's Only Joking (2013) on Sky1, The John Bishop Show (2015) on BBC1, John Bishop's Christmas Show (2015) on BBC1, and John Bishop's Gorilla Adventure (2015) on ITV1, filmed in Rwanda. Additionally, he has appeared in various other television programs, such as his one-off special for Sport Relief, John Bishop's Sport Relief Hell (2012) on BBC1, as a team captain on Sky One's A League of Their Own (2010) on Sky1, and as a guest on Jack Dee Live at the Apollo (2004) on BBC1.
Before this, Bishop directed and starred in his own comedy drama for Sky One's Little Crackers (2010) season.
