Throughout his illustrious career, Vivyan appeared in over 100 television shows and films, cementing his status as a respected and accomplished actor in the entertainment industry.

Vivyan's remarkable career path, though frequently eclipsed by his unforgettable depiction of a charming and genuine gambler in the Blake Edwards television series, Mr. Lucky, which broadcasted from 1959 to 1960, alongside the accomplished actor Ross Martin as Andamo.

Vivyan's professional trajectory experienced a temporary hiatus, characterized by a sparse schedule of performances, which nevertheless allowed him to make sporadic appearances in various television programs, including the widely acclaimed sitcom WKRP in Cincinnati, which premiered in 1982, and the crime-solving series Simon & Simon, which debuted in 1983.
