In the gritty streets of Sao Paulo, a 10-year-old runaway named Pixote faces unimaginable hardships, including torture and corruption, after being arrested by police. As he navigates a harsh youth detention center, Pixote witnesses the brutal murder of two fellow runaways and the subsequent framing of a 17-year-old trans woman, Lilica. Joining forces with Lilica and three other boys, Pixote embarks on a desperate struggle to survive, perpetuating a cycle of crime, violence, and tragedy.
