In the midst of the Korean War, a courageous American officer takes on a perilous mission to uncover the harsh realities of a Communist-controlled POW camp, risking everything to reveal the inhumane treatment of his fellow prisoners.

A troubled American army officer investigates the brutal conditions inside North Korean POW camps, parachuting behind enemy lines to infiltrate a group of G.I.s being marched to one of these camps, where he witnesses gruesome scenes of brainwashing, beatings, and deprivation under the watchful eye of a Russian colonel.
