He hopes to restart his life, feeling like a pushover and having nothing to live for on Earth. His scientific approach clashes with his superficial boss, Brad, and his broken engagement with Beatrice has led to him being forced into a basement suite and being pushed to sell his share of their shared house. Damon finds new passion and purpose with Phoebe, an offbeat musician he meets while metal detecting, who helps him with his Red Rover application and becomes a kindred spirit.
