In 1930s Hollywood, a group of aspiring actresses, who have come to the city to make it big, are instead working as stand-ins for glamorous movie stars. They gather at a local bar, where they confide in the bartender, Jack, about their hopes and dreams. But when a new stand-in joins the group, their lives take an unexpected turn.
