The Stargate team is ambushed by Ba'al, and their allies start to disappear. Carter, Daniel, and Mitchell find themselves on a ship trapped beneath the polar ice cap, which is about to sink. They escape and are rescued by a submarine, only to discover that the SG project never existed in this timeline. The government dismisses their warnings about the Goa'uld and forces them to start new lives, but they're later sought out for help when the Goa'uld actually attack Earth.
