Foghorn Leghorn tries to win the heart of Miss Prissy by helping her care for a foundling, a young Chicken Hawk named Henery. Despite Henery's natural instinct to hunt poultry, Prissy decides to keep him as her own. However, Foghorn becomes concerned about his own safety and concocts a plan to get rid of the little Hawk while Prissy is distracted.

Foghorn Leghorn's romantic plans are disrupted when a lost chick, Henery the Chicken Hawk, is left on Miss Prissy's doorstep, forcing Foghorn to reevaluate his priorities and care for the young bird.
