In this Western drama, a scheming housekeeper named Vera Martin is forced to leave the Bagley Ranch, which she had controlled since the owner's death. The ranch is inherited by Rodney T. Blackton, and Vera seeks help from rival rancher Gregg Jackson, who has his own plans to benefit from the situation. Just as Vera and Jackson are about to frame Rodney, Roy Rogers and his friends arrive at the ranch, including the Sons of the Pioneers and Sylvia Clark, the guardian of Rodney. As they uncover the truth, they must work together to clear the fake mortgage and recover the stolen cattle.
