In Montreal, fashion designer Sophie Malaterre is summoned to showcase her work, only to find her boss on vacation. She's invited to lunch with Claire, who introduces her to switch.com, a website that allows people to swap homes for vacations. Sophie switches apartments with Parisian Bénédicte Serteaux and has a dream day exploring the city. However, when she wakes up the next morning, she's arrested by police who believe she's Bénédicte, as a beheaded body has been found in her apartment.
