Taza, Son of Cochise background

Taza, Son of Cochise

Taza, the peaceful-minded son of the late Cochise, faces a daunting challenge as he tries to maintain order among the Chiricahua Apache tribe, while Geronimo's aggressive nature threatens to destabilize the community.

After the Apache wars end, the peacemaking chief Cochise passes away, leaving his son Taza to carry on his ideas. However, Taza's brother Naiche craves war and also seeks to win the hand of Taza's betrothed, Oona. Naiche's aggressive actions, fueled by a biased cavalry officer, ultimately lead to the Chiricahua Apaches being forced onto a reservation, where they are joined by the notorious renegade Geronimo, sparking a renewed cycle of conflict.
