After the Apache wars end, the peacemaking chief Cochise passes away, leaving his son Taza to carry on his ideas. However, Taza's brother Naiche craves war and also seeks to win the hand of Taza's betrothed, Oona. Naiche's aggressive actions, fueled by a biased cavalry officer, ultimately lead to the Chiricahua Apaches being forced onto a reservation, where they are joined by the notorious renegade Geronimo, sparking a renewed cycle of conflict.
