A traveling tent show, led by Colonel Ryder and young orphan Davey, is lent an elephant by their friend and rival circus owner Molly. As Davey trains the elephant, they form a strong bond. However, when the Colonel loses the elephant in a game of chance, Davey takes matters into his own hands and embarks on a 20-mile journey to find Molly, the rightful owner.
