A parapsychologist named Philip Devlin suffers from memory loss after a tragic accident, and seeks help from a Berlin physician, Dr. Wiemer. Upon visiting Wiemer's home, they find him dead, along with a mentally unstable French woman, Jeanne, who claims Wiemer stole her baby from an extraterrestrial father. Philip's investigation uncovers a web of deceit and danger, including a CIA agent's involvement in Wiemer's murder and the subsequent cover-up.
