In this old-west drama, two out-of-work Pony Express riders, John Blair and Larry Adams, buy a defunct mail line and equipment, but find the town it's supposed to serve is a ghost town. They team up with the eccentric mayor and a doctor to revive the line, and John decides to enter a coach race to win a lucrative government contract. However, their rival, Cal Drake, tries to sabotage their efforts and get rid of John.
