A group of Uruguayan rugby players must use their collective resourcefulness and determination to stay alive after their plane goes down in the treacherous Andes Mountains.
The 1972 Uruguayan rugby team's ill-fated flight to Chile ends in disaster, leaving 45 people stranded in the Andes Mountains after the plane crashes. Two months later, 16 survivors are rescued, but the extreme circumstances force them to make an unthinkable decision: consuming human flesh to stay alive.
