A ballet school is plagued by fear after a prima ballerina is shot by a fellow dancer. The company remains on edge as the shooter remains at large, while another dancer is held in solitary confinement on suspicion of involvement. The shooter's friend breaks out of the asylum and is coerced into helping with a violent mission. Meanwhile, a nerdy ballerina writes a novel based on the events, which somehow alters real life.
