In the small town of Fate, Texas, a new shopping store called Consumart opens to great fanfare, offering cut-rate prices on various items. However, the excitement is short-lived as a bloodbath erupts, and the town is soon overrun by vampires. Three self-absorbed twenty-somethings, Carrie, Sam, and Bone, stumble into the town while on a road trip and find themselves fighting for survival. They team up with a group of surviving humans, including Byron and Lynette Von Jones, and Roy Jackson, to escape the vampires and find a way to defeat them. Along the way, Bone struggles to win Carrie's heart, while the group faces numerous challenges and dangers.
