Bob Biswas, an insurance agent, is released from the hospital after eight years in a coma and struggles to recall his past. He's welcomed by his wife Mary, son Benny, and teenage stepdaughter Minnie, who's studying for a medical entrance exam. As Bob tries to adjust to his new life, he's approached by two cops who ask him to resume his former job as a contract killer, targeting individuals involved with a dangerous drug, Blue.
