Logger Vick, after a year of hard work, is struggling to afford a train ticket home for the holidays. Determined to make it back, he resorts to a chaotic tree-chopping spree, prompting animals like Briar Bear and Bramble Bear to defend their forest home. However, as they try to stop him, they discover Vick's true motivation: a desperate attempt to reach his hometown for the holidays. Moved by his plight, the animals devise a plan to help Vick achieve his dream, navigating wintry weather, transportation issues, and authorities along the way.
