When an event is canceled, event planner Rachel Davis is given a surprise break to return to her hometown of Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, and spend Christmas with her family. There, she's tasked with organizing Dollywood's 30th-anniversary Christmas event, but she's dismayed to learn she'll be working alongside Luke Hackman, the Director of Operations, who's also vying for the General Manager position. Despite their differing views, they eventually work together harmoniously, realizing they're both working towards the same goals. As they work together, Rachel and Luke start to fall for each other, but their path to happily-ever-after is complicated by their diverging life paths.
