In this film, a Korean architect returns to Columbus, Indiana, where he designed many buildings, after a seizure that is expected to be fatal. His family comes to visit him, and he meets a young woman who works at the public library next to his former family home, now a bed and breakfast. The woman and the architect's son become friends as they explore Columbus' impressive architecture. The woman dreams of studying architecture, but feels trapped by her circumstances, while the son is reluctant to inherit his father's legacy and resents the responsibility that comes with it.
