A struggling addict, Curtis, becomes consumed by paranoia, convinced his mother-in-law has cursed him with voodoo. He turns to his friend Jim for help, and despite Jim's initial skepticism, decides to create a talisman to counteract the supposed evil spells. The charm seems to work, but as Curtis's problems disappear, questions arise about the true nature of his newfound solace.
