Dauntless: The Battle of Midway

The Japanese Navy dominates the Pacific by June 1942, prompting the US to position a carrier group off Midway to turn the tide of the war. A US Navy dive bomber crew makes an emergency landing in the sea after being forced to ditch, and as they drift helplessly, they await rescue from their comrades, including the crew of a PBY Catalina on a mission to search for survivors. As days pass and hope of rescue dwindles, the men confront their own mortality in the vast Pacific.
