In the midst of World War II, the 517th Parachute Regimental Combat Team parachutes into enemy territory in southern France on August 15, 1944. Their goal is to support the Allied forces marching towards Berlin, but they're quickly met with fierce resistance. When three isolated paratroopers stumble upon a group of French resistants in dire straits, they choose to join forces and liberate captured Partisans, putting their own lives at risk.
