Cliff Banks, a former bank robber, flees alone after a botched heist and seeks refuge in the idyllic town of Paradise Valley. There, he meets a farmer, Clem Broderick, and his blind daughter Jane, who possesses supernatural abilities. Despite her powers, Jane is unaware of Cliff's plan to steal the farm until she discovers it, and in response, she conjures a terrifying vision that leaves Cliff shaken. As a result, Cliff vows to reform and ultimately saves Clem's life when he's attacked by a bear.
