In this eerie film, two men engage in a conversation about the occult, leading to the unfolding of three bizarre stories. First, Henrietta, a woman consumed by bitterness, harbors a secret love for Michael, a law student. A mysterious stranger gifts her a magical mask that transforms her beauty, but it must be returned by midnight. Next, a partygoer named Podgers, a palmist with uncanny abilities, predicts that Marshal Tyler will commit a murder, sending Tyler into a state of obsessive contemplation. Finally, a high-wire artist named Gaspar becomes fixated on his recurring dream of falling and becomes smitten with a woman named Joan, who appears in his visions. As Gaspar's dreams intensify, he must confront the possibility that his subconscious may be prophesying disaster.
