The Doctor and his bus full of passengers, including a skilled thief, find themselves lost in a desert on a distant planet after a wormhole hijacks their route. As they try to figure out how to get back to Earth, they must also navigate the challenges of their new alien surroundings. Meanwhile, back in London, a team led by Captain Erisa Magambo works to close the wormhole before it's too late.
