A recent graduate named Charlie is cut off by his wealthy parents, who demand he become independent. Instead, he travels to Italy, where he gets robbed and befriends Lele, the self-proclaimed King of Bologna. Lele teaches Charlie how to live life on his own terms, but Charlie's antics attract the attention of two ruthless Mafia bosses.
