Two cousins, Guddu and Rangeela, live in a crime-ridden town in North India. By day, they are orchestra singers, and by night, they work as informants for local gangsters, providing information on wealthy families for a meager pay. Despite their differences, they face various dangerous and comedic situations together. Their lives are complicated by a 10-year-old legal battle against a gang lord turned politician, Billo, whom they are fighting through an honest advocate, Gupta. Guddu wants to escape their poverty by pulling off a heist, while Rangeela is determined to overthrow Billo and seek justice for a past tragedy.
