Aditi Rao Hydari, a talented actress born in 1978 in the vibrant city of Hyderabad, comes from a rich heritage, being a descendant of two esteemed royal lineages - Sir Akbar Hydari and J. Rameshwar Rao, the former ruler of Wanaparthy.
Before making a name for herself in the film industry, Aditi was a classical Bharatanatyam dancer, and her passion for dance was evident even before she took her first step into acting. Her acting debut came with the critically acclaimed film Sringaram, directed by Sharada Ramanathan, which garnered her recognition and praise.
She gained widespread recognition after her outstanding performance in Sudhir Mishra's Yeh Saali Zindagi, and soon found herself playing the female lead in the 2012 film London Paris New York, opposite the talented Ali Zafar. In 2013, she joined the Murder franchise, starring in Vishesh Bhatt's directorial film Murder 3.
Throughout her career, Aditi has been recognized for her versatility and range, taking on diverse roles in films such as Rockstar, London Paris New York, and Yeh Saali Zindagi. She will soon be seen in a string of upcoming films, including Guddu Rangeela, directed by Subhash Kapoor; The Legend of Michael Mishra, directed by Manish Jha; Aur Devdas, directed by Sudhir Mishra; Wazir, directed by Bejoy Nambiar, alongside Amitabh Bachchan and Farhan Akhtar; and Fitoor, directed by Abhisheik Kapoor, where she will be playing the role of a young Begum.
