The Three Stooges are released from the army after World War I and exact revenge on their cruel sergeant. Later, they find themselves in the army again, with the same sergeant as their commanding officer. The sergeant plays pranks on the Stooges, who eventually go mad and wreak havoc with a cannon, destroying several structures, including the Admiral's flagship. The sergeant ultimately takes revenge by blowing them up.
