Harold Robbins' Body Parts background

Harold Robbins' Body Parts

A man, wrongly imprisoned for murder and drug trafficking, is released from Hong Kong's custody and embarks on a quest for truth, suspecting his wife may have been involved in his false conviction.

In 1992, Ty's friend J.J. sets him up for a murder and cocaine theft in Hong Kong. Ty's wife Rachel may be involved in the scheme. When Ty is released from prison as a gesture of goodwill from the new Mainland government, he doesn't search for Rachel. However, she finds him in Southern California and warns him that J.J. wants him dead. Rachel advises Ty to eliminate J.J. first, and he travels to Manila to confront him. J.J. runs a lucrative business under the guise of exporting tropical fish, but Ty and his new ally, a young Filipina prostitute named Inez, must uncover the truth behind the operation, even after Inez loses her resolve to pursue the culprits.
