An 18-year-old girl named Joy has vanished, and a care home resident named Helen is about to leave the institution. Helen is asked to pretend to be Joy in a police reconstruction, retracing Joy's final steps. Despite having a loving family, a boyfriend, and a promising future, Joy's life was turned upside down.
