Amy, a 30-something woman, returns to her parents' home in Westport, Connecticut, after her husband's affair and subsequent divorce request. She's struggling to cope with the loss of her seemingly perfect marriage and is unsure about her future. With no job experience and a liberal arts degree, she feels lost and uncertain. Her parents, Ruth and Stan, welcome her back, but Amy senses Ruth's disapproval of her return. To make matters more complicated, Amy starts a secret relationship with Jeremy, a 19-year-old actor, due to their significant age difference and the potential conflict of interest between Jeremy's stepfather and Stan's law firm. As Amy navigates this new relationship and her own emotional turmoil, she must confront the realities of her post-David life and figure out what she truly wants.
