I Hired a Contract Killer

Fifteen years of dedicated service come to an abrupt end when Henri Boulanger is made redundant, leading to a desperate attempt to end his life. However, his plans are foiled, and he instead decides to hire a hitman to take his life at a later date. However, his plans are put on hold when he meets Margaret, a charming flower-seller, and begins to rediscover the meaning of his existence. But when he tries to cancel the contract, he's left with a daunting problem: the bar where he made the arrangement has been demolished, leaving him with no way to contact the killer.
